Andrew and Jayen had been telling us so much of this place called Sabatini - a fancy Italian restaurant that features so much good food that you can only eat one meal that day. By the way - this place, Sabatini is in Hong Kong ya. LOL.
The Royal Garden. Located in Tsim Sha Tsui East area.
Sabatini Ristorante Italiano. =)
Yes, Hong Kong is full of new and Michelin-starred restaurants - this would be my first time at a Michelin restaurant, and Sabatini gives me a very good impression of this rating.
As for decor-wise, Sabatini is considerably quite casual but upscale, romantic and rustic at the same time. There are fancy terra cotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings and traditional Roman murals. There’s also the guitar band that serenades the diners and apparently they know every song ever suggested.
Okay... let me go to the food...
A wide variety of bread to start from, and their butter...... ahhhh that one is damn good!
Take plenty of their Parma ham - also for your appetizer. Freeflow buffet style!
What can I say? Yes, it is expensive, but it is worth it. Buffet lunch on a Saturday - a choice of many, many appetizers - huge tiger prawn, soft mussels, parma hams, salad of many kinds...... AND a lovely bowl of bread. It also comes with unlimited supply of sparkling wine (pretty good one). Then comes a half-lobster - nice, soft, creamy, juicy baked... and that price also includes the main course!
How about some bruschettas....
This lobster looks awesome and fulfilling... but trust me, this is NOT the main course yet.
Meet Esther, and Andrew's cute son, Kaeden.
Nah... this is one of the main course... foie gras.
Grilled lamb rack - I would rate it a very good 8/10.
Dont this just make your mouth water....
After a very heavy meal, you can choose to opt for the Haagen Daz icecream... or maybe some other desserts available there too...
I went for strawberry.... =)
This is what I call heavenly.
This is the super cute Kaeden and yours truly. =)
