Top 3 Rooftop Bars.

This is a post on the Top 3 rooftop bars in London. =)

This post was extracted from here... By the time you read this it could be useless. London weather has been temperamental recently, to say the least, but it is, officially, still summer. Bathed in optimism, if not sunshine, a number of London’s bars have swept their terraces, opened their rooftops and allocated top-floor space to provide the capital with new drinking dens. On clear days they’re perfect spots for sun-downer drinks, so make the most of these fleeting opportunities with our selection of London’s best rooftop bars.

Vista

Calling a rooftop bar Vista asserts you’re proud of the view, but here it’s more about the bar’s position than its height. On the sixth floor of the Trafalgar Hotel, you can’t see very far from here but you are directly above Trafalgar Square, and the location’s a showstopper. Tilt your neck to see the National Gallery; crane over the railing – carefully – and you can gaze down on the turquoise pools of Trafalgar Square. St Martin-in-the-Fields church is visible too, and this is probably the closest you’ll come to looking eye to eye at Admiral Nelson as he stands sentry on his column. Best of all, however, is that you can enjoy all these sights at your leisure as less-informed visitors scramble around on ground level. As for the bar itself, pink roses and pastel cushions come across as slightly mawkish but otherwise its palette of dark chocolate and soft greys looks the part.

2 Spring Gardens, Trafalgar Square, SW1A 2TS; open Mon-Sun 12pm-1am; entry £5

Aqua Kyoto

The Aqua group are panorama professionals. Aqua Spirit flies the flag for the company back at their base in Hong Kong, providing a dizzying lookout from the 30th floor of a waterside skyscraper, directly over the technicolour-tinted harbour. Your surroundings aren’t quite so impressive at Aqua Kyoto, but they’re not half bad. Directly in front of the bar there’s the grand sweep of Regent Street and the domed, coral-green roof of the Apple store – it’s surprising how pretty these buildings actually are when you take the time to appreciate at them. On the terrace itself, décor’s tastefully muted rather than garishly overstated: slate tiles cover the walls; ash-coloured banquettes ring the open terrace. It’s a restraint that’s in keeping with Kyoto’s Japanese theme. The bar leads to an indoor Japanese restaurant decorated in silk and charcoal. The crowd throughout looks the part too. More locals in the know than tourists clutching guidebooks, it’s full of after-work drinkers, wealthy-looking guys and good-looking women. Things remain restrained in the restaurant, but can get lively on the rooftop. The focus on drinking – speciality cocktails and sake – and occasional DJ turns – Café del Mar- and melodic house-style sets – means the atmosphere improves after the sun goes down.

30 Argyll Street, W1B 3BR; open Mon-Sat 12pm-3pm and 6.30pm-1am

Coq d’Argent

Lovely, leafy Coq d’Argent is one of the more salubrious addresses in the City, its status and renown in no small part due to its rooftop garden. From the well-tended lawns, you can cast your eyes on Monument and the Gherkin and, from about 5pm, batteries of bankers. There were an isolated number of incidences when stressed-out City workers committed suicide by hurling themselves from the rooftop, but that thankfully seems to have abated. Otherwise, this bar’s the height of sophistication with an exceptional wine list, an extensive range of champagnes and stodgy cigars available to slurp, sip and smoke as applicable. If you’ve got time to linger during the week and money to spare it’s worth dining here too. The Coq d’Argent French restaurant is formal but reliable and popular with those claiming expenses. A better way to experience the setting is to visit during the weekend: the City has quietened; the workers have retreated; the space has opened up; and bargain-price set menus are available.

Go Karting at MAEPS, Serdang.

Recently, I went out with the MRS gang again - once again for another go-karting session. The previous time was at Shah Alam - and this time it was at MAEPS at UPM Serdang.

Yours truly, in a Portugal jersey bearing FIGO 7 at the back.

Here I am with Amos and Kelvin.

Kelvin having a go at kart no.12.

...and of course myself, the pro marrr....

It was quite an eventful race; I collided in a major accident with Amos. And then soon after, Amos crashed into another lady driver... causing her some major injury. So all in - it was all good... and I look forward to a next session with the MRS gang! =P

The Ferrari FF Launch at Naza Italia. =)

My recent fascination with Italians and the prancing horse has grown to an all new level. Nowadays, it is not just the sounds and the vrrroommm that keeps me in touch with my inner self - I could just sit in the car, with LMFAO going at full blast on the speakers and I would feel the same too. =)

I could really stare at this for hourrrss... =)

Anyways, today, as I came out from my office, I saw this tweet from Alie =)

...at that moment, I was wondering... what viewing ar? Mmm... and if I go there, sure bored wan and so on... So, I was hesitating whether to drop by or not.

...and then I saw this tweet hehehe... *grins* wahh got hot chic going worr... WHY NOT RIGHT? Might as well drop by, just to say hi LOL...

...and so, I got to NAZA ITALIA, and went in to see the car. =)

Before I show you how the car looks like... be ready to be SHOCKED!!!

Yes... it is a brand new Ferrari, a brand new look, and basically, it is TOTALLY DIFFERENT!

The Ferrari FF (FF meaning "Ferrari Four", for four seats and four-wheel drive) is a grand tourer - it is unusual on two major factors!!! It is Ferrari's first production four-wheel drive model, and Ferrari's first production shooting-brake. The Ferrari FF has the largest capacity Ferrari engine ever produced: a 6,262 cc (6.3 L; 382.1 cu in) naturally aspirated direct injected 65° V12, which produces 660 PS (485 kW; 651 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 683 N·m (504 lb·ft) of torque at 6000 rpm.

Okay... basically it does like 0-100 km/h in 3+ seconds, has a roaring V12 engine. Ya whatever, go pay up RM2.8million and you'll get the taste.... =)

This monster here is supposed to replace the 612 Scaglietti... =) I havent driven it yet - but I think that test might just come soon enough; once they bring in a RIGHT HAND DRIVE lol!!!

The luggages, golf bags etc... comes optional. But just check out the amount of boot space there is!!! You could kidnap someone and stuff the person in the boot!!!!!

BLACK CIRCUIT is going to PENANG!!! =)

Do you enjoy going to parties? Do you enjoy drinking? Guess what.... JOHNNIE WALKER®, the world’s number one Scotch whisky and the market leader in Malaysia... will continue the iconic and successful series of glamorous Black Circuit race parties by launching the first event of its kind in Penang!!!!!!!!! =)

Step inside the BLACK CIRCUIT... in Penang. =P

Exclusively for the super loyal JOHNNIE WALKER® fans and drinkers, aficionados and society high flyers, the BLACK CIRCUIT PENANG will whisk guests into the luxurious lifestyle of international motorsport on Thursday, August 25th at a secret location to be revealed only days before the party.

Yes... thats NEXT THURSDAY!!!! *woooots*

Wanna know more? Go check out and "LIKE" their Facebook page ok!!!. =)

I have always been a party goer, and furthermore, I love Formula One. =) Johnnie Walker® has always been the symbol of exclusivity and high flying lifestyle as shown by the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button - both are the top guys for the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 team! =) Johnnie Walker is the global partner of Formula One team VMM since 2005 because they both share the values of innovation, winning and leadership!

I think for me... if I had a chance to experience their lifestyle... one thing I would love is... that celebrity status!!! =P Wherever they go, wherever they are - they truly party and are treated like rock stars! I know they both homes in Monaco, and they are recognized wherever they go! They get VIP treatment everywhere, the guys look up to them, the chics throw themselves at them. That is the LIFE!!!!! =P

That's super exclusive .... and thats real VIP baby!!!!!!! =)

Anyways, I have seen so many people who cant control their alcohol, who cant control how much they drink, and obviously, cant control how drunk they get. I always tell people - DONT DRIVE AND DRIVE, YOU MIGHT JUST SPILL THE DRINK! I may joke at that, but actually, apart from spilling the drink, there are a lot more to that.

Responsible drinking is indeed very important! I am not going to tell you about which friend who died or got into car accident etc - cos all my friends drink responsibly. Let me tell you about my OWN experience... There was one Friday when I drank too much, said and did some stupid things, and made a very important person angry and hurt. I regretted deeply after that; and I told myself - I will never ever drink irresponsibly and get drunk anymore. Til today, I have not got drunk before and I am keeping to that!!! =)

So... do you wanna partyyy??? Johnnie Walker brings to you a VIP race party for the first time ever in Penang.... yes the land of the hot chics!!! =)

...and in case you didnt know... Johnnie Walker is the world’s leading Scotch Whisky and the number one whisky in Malaysia!!! =)

Anyways... always remember this! NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE!!!

LETS PARTYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! =)

Lets PARTY Tonight!!! =P

Where do you head to on a Wednesday night? A Thursday night? A Friday night? Or best... on a Saturday night? There are many places to head to in the whole Kuala Lumpur - but not all are good, not all are happening. I used to party like 6 days a week, and it involved like Zouk, Velvet, Laundry, DeLawi and so on... but then, that was 7-8 years ago. =)

So... today... where would be KL's best night spot?

In my opinion, I would think that after 7 years, Zouk would probably be a thing of the past. But guess what... that thinking would be wrong. Today, I would say that the best night spot in town is still Zouk Jalan Ampang - with its mainroom, Velvet, Phuture and so on. =)

Where can you get PITBULL at his best... with the best sound system, and the best crowds?

That would seriously be ZOUK. =) No questions asked. No rooftop club, or sky club, or whatever poolside club can compete at all. There are like 6 joints at Zouk itself - the Zouk mainroom, the new Phuture, Velvet Underground, Aristo, Barsonic as well as Terrace Bar.

My personal favourites are still Velvet and Phuture - I guess for Friday and Saturday nights. =) One little advice though - unless you want to feel old, or mingle around with some super young crowd - if not, Thursday nights would not be the night for you here LOL. I was there last night... for like 5 mins. =)

Monday shuffle, Tuesday shuffle, Wednesday shuffle... Thursday shuffle... everyday I'm shuffling!!!

Thats not all... when you go to Zouk... you might meet this random guy...

...and be WOWED by his MAGIC!!! =)

Lets partyyyy onnnn!!!!!!

The Coway Spa Water Softener Launching Day @ Sunway Lagoon

Do you know what is Coway? Coway - is the awesome home-wellness appliances manufacturer. Just last Saturday - while everyone was busy with #Bersih, I was invited to the launching party at Sunway Lagoon, together with some other... 500 guests from both the customers, the media as well as some celebrities!

The Coway Launch.

Its the COWAY Family Day here at Sunway Lagoon!

Coway installed 48 units of their Coway Spa Water Softener at Sunway Lagoon. =)

Simon calls this the most advanced toilet seat. Hehehe...

It was an awesome family day - the mothers get to do manicure/pedicure, the men get reflexology and then the kids can go play in the water!!!

More appliances from Coway.

The crowd was massive. It may not be as much as the Bersih - but there were still a good 500 here I think.

May June and Ning Baizura on stage, tellng us all about their Coway experiences.

Oh, lets not forget... the balloon man!!!!!!!

A little balloon flower for my beloved. =)

Here's a super cute picture of Chammaine and.... "ehh macha, kopi ais satu!"
