GIVE ME JESUS
"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."
1 Timothy 4:12 (King James Version)
If we will listen with our heart, we will hear our family; our friends and everyone we meet say "Give me Jesus". How do we give Jesus to them? We give Jesus to them by living our life for Jesus. We also give them Jesus by the encouraging words we say and the kind things we do.
Our Scripture verse for today instructs us to be an example of the believers. Are we being a good example or are we being a bad example? Our teenagers are watching us to see how we live our life. If our teenagers don't see the joy of Jesus in our lives, they are not going to want Jesus in their life.
Heavenly Father, please help us to live in such a way that others will see Jesus in our smiles, hear Him in our words and feel His love in the kind things we do for others. May we be a good example for Jesus every day of our life and may others see the joy of Jesus in our life. Amen.
