Surisit Thai, TTDI.

Recently, Bok brought us to TTDI to try out this place called Surisit Thai - an authentic and very 'homely' Thai restaurant. As most Thai restaurants in KL are halal or pork free, I was surprised when this place said... NON-HALAL. One look at the menu and I was... mesmerized... wow... the amount of pork that they have.... wowww... I was mouth watering already. =)

The setting was rather kopitiam style, which makes it a good place for families to come for a simple dinner, lunch... or even breakfast!

To start off, we had the kerabu pucuk paku.

The Mun Thod Gapi...

This is highly recommended - and a MUST ORDER!! Super delicious awesome fried pork with shrimp paste and lemon leaves, served with some chili on the side...

Cha Om.... this is some good stuffs!!

I usually order the telur dadar at other Thai places, and this one definitely satisfies my cravings for some good 'telur dadar'. =P

The sour orange curry fish.

The Kao Klut Gapi.

Do note that this belacan fried rice is served with some really good braised pork on the side. =)

The crispy deep fried fish with lime, chili and garlic. Another of my favourites....

Tom yam ka moo. =) Yummmyyyyy....

If you like spicy food and Thai food as well as tom yum as much as I do - then come and make sure you order this. =) This one is truly awesome!!!

and then it came to desserts... mmm mango sticky rice, anyone?
