Back in late 2002, PETRONAS launched the Primax petrol – a petrol with a Friction Modifier component in it and it was the first of its kind in Malaysia. That Primax formulation is said to clean the engine more effectively, removing carbon deposits from most of the fuel delivery system as well as in the combustion chambers. =) The quality of the fuel is very high, as it uses high quality base fuel, blended with the proprietary package of additives at its Petronas plant.
Now… 8+ years later… on the 10th of April 2011 – Petronas will launch another new automotive fuel. Based on its association with the Formula One – the fuel was developed and inspired by its F1 fuel technology. Further to that, as per their own research results, the fuel is expected to generate more acceleration, as well as more mileage, making it an exciting new fuel in the market.
Who says that Formula One technology is only for Formula One?
I am getting all pumped and excited about this new fuel by Petronas. Recently, the cost of petrol has gone up so much and I would look forward to any new product or petrol that is much more economical, while on the other hand gives more power.
That is not all… to coincide with the launch of this *new* fuel on the 10th of April 2011 – there will also be a fuel up promo from 5.30pm – 8.30pm on the same day at all Petronas petrol stations nationwide. Go and test it out and fill the added power yourself!!! =)
