Hold the Hand

A Little Girl and her Father were crossing a flimsy bridge.

The Father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,

“Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don’t fall into the river.”

The Little Girl said, “No, Dad. You hold my hand.”

“What’s the difference?” asked the puzzled Father.

“There’s a big difference,” replied the Little Girl.

“If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go.
But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go.”

“In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, age, caste or creed but in its bond. So, hold the hand of the person whom you love rather than expecting them to hold yours.”

Little Things

Too often we don't realize what we have until it is gone;
Too often we wait too late to say "I'm sorry - I was wrong."

Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones we hold dearest to our hearts;
And we allow foolish things to tear our lives apart.

Far too many times we let unimportant things into our minds;
And then it's usually too late to see what made us blind.

So be sure that you let people know how much they mean to you;
Take that time to say the words before your time is through.

Be sure that you appreciate everything you've got
And be thankful for the little things in life that mean a lot.

Reflection

1. Never explain yourself to any one. Because the person who likes you doesn't need it, and the person who dislikes you won't believe it.

2. When we wake up in the morning, we have two simple choice: Go back to sleep and dream, or wake up and chase those dreams.
Choice is Yours.

3. Don't make promise when you are in joy. Don't reply when you are sad. Don't take decision when you are angry.
Think twice, Act wise.

4. When you keep saying you are busy, then you are never free.
When you keep saying you have no time, then you will never have time.
When you keep saying that you will do it tomorrow, then your tomorrow will never come.

5. We make them cry who care for us. We cry for those who never care for us. And we care for those who will never cry for us. This is the truth of life, its strange but true. Once you realize this, its never too late to change.

6. Time is like a river. You cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again.
Enjoy every moment of life.

The Barber Who Didn't Believe

A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard cut as always. He started to have a good conversation with the barber who attended him. They talked about so many things and various subjects. Suddenly, they touched the subject of God. The barber said: "Look man, I don't believe that God exists as you say so."

"Why do you say that?" asked the client. "Well, it's so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God exists, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can't think of a God who permits all of these things."

The client stopped for a moment thinking but he didn't want to respond so as to prevent an argument. The barber finished his job and the client went out of the shop. Just after he left the barber shop he saw a man in the street with a long hair and beard (it seems that it had been a long time since he had his hair cut and he looked so untidy).

Then the client again entered the barber shop and he said to the barber:

"know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How come they don't exist?"-asked the barber. "Well I am here and I am a barber."

"No!" the client exclaimed. "They don't exist because if they did there would be no people with long hair and beards like that man who walks in the street."

"Ah, barbers do exist, what happens is that people do not come to us."

"Exactly!"- affirmed the client. "That's the point. God does exist, what happens is people don't go to Him and do not look for Him that's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

Men reaction

A guy, sitting outside his home about to be evicted from his house, was contemplating how the future would be after he had divorced his wife, lost his Children and lost his job.

He notices a crate of empty beer bottles and walks up to it.

He takes out an Empty bottle, smashing it into the concrete wall swearing,
"You are the reason I don' t have a wife",

Second bottle, "You are the reason I don't have my Children",

Third bottle "You are the reason I lost my job".

He notices the Fourth bottle is sealed and still full of beer.

He takes the Bottle, puts it aside and says….

"Stand aside my dear friend, I know you were Not Involved."

You Are

You are strong...
when you take your grief and teach it to smile.

You are brave...
when you overcome your fear and help others to do the same.

You are happy...
when you see a flower and are thankful for the blessing.

You are loving...
when your own pain does not blind you to the pain of others.

You are wise...
when you know the limits of your wisdom.

You are true...
when you admit there are times you fool yourself.

You are alive...
when tomorrow's hope means more to you than yesterday's mistake.

You are growing...
when you know what you are but not what you will become.

You are free...
when you are in control of yourse lf and do not wish to control others.

You are honorable...
when you find your honor is to honor others.

You are generous...
when you can take as sweetly as you can give.

You are humble...
when you do not know how humble you are.

You are thoughtful...
when you see me just as I am and treat me just as you are.

You are merciful...
when you forgive in others the faults you condemn in yourself.

You are beautiful...
when you don't need a mirror to tell you.

You are rich...
when you never need more than what you have.

You are you...
when you are at peace with who you are not.

Never Give Up

One day a young lady was driving along with her father.
They came upon a storm, and the young lady asked her father, What should I do?"

He said "keep driving". Cars began to pull over to the side, the storm was getting worse.

"What should I do." The young lady asked?

"Keep driving," her father replied.

On up a few feet, she noticed that eighteen wheelers were also pulling over.

She told her dad, "I must pull over, I can barely see ahead. It is terrible, and everyone is pulling over!"

Her father told her, "Don't give up, just keep driving!"

Now the storm was terrible, but she never stopped driving, and soon she could see a little more clearly.

After a couple of miles she was again on dry land, and the sun came out.

Her father said, "Now you can pull over and get out."

She said "But why now?"

He said "When you get out, look back at all the people that gave up and are still in the storm, because you never gave up your storm is now over.

This is a testimony for anyone who is going through "hard times".

Just because everyone else, even the strongest, gives up.
You don't have to...if you keep going, soon your storm will be over and the sun will shine upon your face again.

Who is a Leader and Who is a Follower?

A Leader goes through a problem;
A Follower goes around it and never gets past it.

Leaders listen;
Followers just wait until it's their turn to talk.

A Leader makes and keeps commitments;
A Follower makes and forgets promises.

A Leader works harder than a Follower and has more time;
A Follower is always "too busy" to do what is necessary.

A leader says, "There ought to be a better way to do this"
A Follower say, "That's the way it's always been done here."

A Leader says, "I'm good, but not as good as I ought to be"
A Follower says, "I'm not as bad as a lot of other people."

Leaders feel responsible for more than their job;
Followers say, "I only work here."

When Leaders make a mistake, they say, "I was wrong."
When Followers make mistakes, they say, "It wasn't my fault."

Leaders respect those who are superior to them and tries to learn something from them;
Followers resent those who are superior to them and try to find chinks in their armor.

How about you? Are you a Leader or a Follower?

TENSION

The moment you are in TENSION

You will lose your ATTENTION

Then you are in total CONFUSION

And you will feel IRRITATION

This may spoil your personal RELATION

Ultimately, you won’t get CO-OPERATION

And get things into COMPLICATION

Then you will fail to take your health PRECAUTION

And you have to take MEDICATION

Why not try understanding the SITUATION

And try to think about SOLUTION

Many problems are solved in DISCUSSION

Which will work out better in your PROFESSION

Dont think this is just a SUGGESTION

It is also a PREVENTION

If you understand my INTENTION

You will never come again into TENSION

and it’s MY Suggestion.

Moment of Truth

There was a Young Student-Archer who reached such proficiency in his art that
he could shoot an arrow into a tree and then cleave that arrow into two with the next shot.

He began to boast that he was a greater archer than his GURU(Teacher).

One day his GURU(Teacher), a venerable old man in his 70's, asked the Youth to
accompany him on a trip across the hills.

The journey was uneventful until they came to a deep chasm. A single log spanned the chasm.

The GURU(Teacher) walked down to the centre of the log,
unshouldered his bow and taking an arrow shot it into a tree on the other side.
His next shot cleaved the first arrow into two.

"Now it's your turn," HE said, walking back to where his student was standing.

The youth stepped gingerly on the log and very slowly and carefully made his way to the middle.
But, his heart was in his mouth. He knew that if he lost his footing, he would plunge to his death.
His hands trembled as he strung an arrow into his bow.
Preoccupied with the danger he was in, he found it hard to focus on the target.
Consequently when he let go of the arrow, it missed the tree altogether.

Whimpering, he turned around.

"Help me!" he shouted to his GURU(Teacher). "I'll fall!".The old man walked up to him,
took his hand and stepping backwards led him to safety.
Neither of them said a word on the return journey but the boy had much to think about.

He had realised that to be a master of his art it was not enough to know how to control the bow,
he had to learn how to control his mind too.

The Stone in the Desert

An Arab while crossing a desert came across a huge rock half buried in the sand.

Scrawled on the boulder was this inscription:
"TURN ME OVER AND YOU WILL BENEFIT FROM IT"

The Arab felt sure there was a great treasure hidden beneath it and
worked mightily to turn it over.

He succeeded after several hours.

But, there was no treasure there, only an inscription on the underside of the rock.

The Inscription was:
"GREED IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL
REMEMBER THIS AND YOU WILL BE A BETTER MAN".

What is the Difference between Love and Marriage?

A student asks a teacher, "What is LOVE?"

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and come back.

But the rule is: You can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the field, go through first row, he saw one big wheat, but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later.

Then he saw another bigger one... But may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him.

Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he start to realize that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted.

So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, "This is LOVE. You keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person."

"What is MARRIAGE then?" the student asked.

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back.

But the rule is: You can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.

The teacher told him, "this time you bring back a corn.

You look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get.
This is MARRIAGE.

Just Be

Just be Strong enough- To face the world each day.

Just be Weak enough- To know you cannot do everything.

Just be Wise enough- To know that you do not know everything.

Just be Foolish enough- To believe in miracles.

Just be a Leader- When you see a path others have missed.

Just be a Follower- When you are shrouded in the midst of uncertainty.

Just be the First to congratulate- an opponent who succeeds.

Just be the Last to criticize- a colleague who fails.

When You Miss Someone

When you miss someone so badly, that you can't even say;
Waking in fruitless night and groping through lifeless day...

When you miss someone so dear, that you can't even cry;
Wading through the sea of thoughts, a pain oh my!

When you miss someone so close, that you stand with empty hands;
And see with stony eyes, how rigidly slips the time's sands...

When you miss someone so sweet, that life turns sour;
Days and months and years fly by, how to keep the score?!

When you miss someone so gentle, that you feel a certain sin;
A craving in the core of heart and a blank paper - so clean!

When you miss someone so caring, that it hurts to be alive!
How to breathe is a riddle here, a question - for what to strive?

Interview Questions

Below are the Very Impressive Interview Questions, which were asked in HR Round:

Question 1:
You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night, it’s raining heavily, when suddenly you pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for a bus:
1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing very well that there could only be one passenger in your car?

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.

~You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and
thus you should save her first, or

~You could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and
this would be the perfect chance to pay him back.

~However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer.
Guess what was his answer?

* He simply answered:
"I would give the car keys to my Old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital.
I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."

Question 2:
What will you do if I run away with your sister?"

*The candidate who was selected answered " I will not get a better match for my sister than you sir"

Question 3:
Interviewer (to a student girl candidate) – What is one morning you woke up and
found that you were pregnant?
*Girl – I will be very excited and take an off, to celebrate with my husband.

Normally, an unmarried girl will be shocked to hear this, but she managed it well.
Why I should think it in the wrong way, she said later when asked.

Question 4:
Interviewer: He ordered a cup of coffee for the candidate.
Coffee arrived kept before the candidate, then he asked what is before you?

*Candidate: Instantly replied "Tea".

He got selected.

You know how and why did he say "TEA" when he knows very well that coffee was kept before.

(Answer: The question was "What is before you (U – alphabet) Reply was "TEA" ( T – alphabet)

Alphabet "T" was before Alphabet "U"

Question 5:
Where Lord Rama would have celebrated his "First Diwali"?

People will start thinking of Ayodya, Mitila [Janaki's place], Lanka etc…

But the logic is, Diwali was a celebrated as a mark of Lord Krishna.
Killing Narakasura. In Dasavataar, Krishnavathaar comes after Raamavathaar.
*So, Lord Rama would not have celebrated the Diwali At all!

Question 6:
The interviewer asked to the candidate "This is your last question of the interview.
Please tell me the exact position of the center of this table where u have kept your files."

*Candidate confidently put one of his finger at some point at the table and
told that this was the central point at the table.

Interviewer asked how did u get to know that this being the central point
of this table, then he answers quickly that

"Sir, You are not likely to ask any more question, as it was the last question
that u promised to ask"

And hence, he was selected as because of his quick-wittedness.

She will meet you. She is very Beautiful. You may fall in love with her,and she may too.

Then she may insist to marry You. Even may threaten me , and

What do you mean by Failure?

Failure doesn't mean - "You've wasted your life",
It means - "You have a reason to start afresh".

Failure doesn't mean - "You should give up",
It means - "You must try harder".

Failure doesn't mean - "You have been a fool,"
It means - "You had a lot of faith".

Failure doesn't mean - "You don't have it",
It means - "You were willing to try".

Failure doesn't mean - "You are inferior",
It means - "You are not perfect".

Failure doesn't mean - "You are a failure,"
It means - "You have not succeeded".

Failure doesn't mean - "You accomplished nothing",
It means - "You have learned something".

Failure doesn't mean - "You'll never make it",
It means - "It will take a little longer".

Failure doesn't mean - "God has abandoned you",
It means - "God has a better way for you".

"Failure means Delay and not Defeat."

Think... Positive

Think Positive

Never make the same mistake twice,
There are so many new ones,
Try a different one each day.

A good way to change someone's attitude is to change your own.
Because, the same sun that melts butter, also hardens clay!
Life is as we think, so think beautifully.
Life is just like a sea, we are moving without an end.
Nothing stays with us,
what remains is just the memories of some people who touched us as Waves..

When Snake is alive, Snake eats Ants.
When Snake is dead, Ants eat Snake.
Time can turn at any time.
Don't neglect anyone in your life.

Baby mosquito came back after 1st time flying.
His mom asked him "How do you feel?"
He replied "It was wonderful, Everyone was clapping for me!"
Now that's What is a Positive Attitude .

Findout my another Guest?

Birbal had been invited to lunch by a rich man.

Birbal went to the man's house and found him in a hall full of people. His host greeted him warmly.

"I did not know there would be so many guests," said Birbal who hated large gatherings.

"They are not guests, "They are all employees except one man" and
he is the only other guest here beside you, said the rich man.

Then a crafty look came on the man's face.

"Can you tell me which of them is the guest?" he asked.

"Maybe I could", said Birbal. "Talk to them as I observe them. Tell them a joke or something."

The rich man told a joke that Birbal thought was perhaps the worst he had heard in a long time.
When he finished everyone laughed uproariously.

"Well", said the rich man. "I've told my joke. Now tell me who my other guest is."

Birbal pointed out the man to him.

"How did you know?" asked his host, amazed.

"Employees tend to laugh at any joke told by their employers," explained Birbal. "When I saw that this man was the only one not laughing at your joke, and in fact, looked positively bored, I at once knew he was your other guest."
